In gdtox012 I presented a collection of tracks with the common heritage of being jazz or inspired/remotely related to jazz (this release has by the way been proven to be very bbq friendly). Here I present the next follow-up in that series. We here have both old classic recordings, and new more experimental ones but with both jazz under- and over-tones crisscrossing all the musical layers. All in all I totally adore this kind of music and all it´s hybrids.
As a little technical experiment I decided to load my ipad up with the tracks needed for this release just before some recent traveling, and ended up mixing the whole thing together at 37000feet on the ipad somewhere between Sydney and Los Angeles, thereby the “37000ft edition” moniker.
Hope you enjoy :)
